Caryn Bosson – Caryn has been involved in Ojai Valley nonprofit organizations as a staff member and volunteer since 1993, holding positions as Membership Coordinator of the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy, Coordinator of the Ojai Valley Youth Master Plan, and, from 1997 to 2007, founding Executive Director of the Ojai Valley Youth Foundation. She is a Senior Manager for President’s Initiatives at TreePeople, a Los Angeles-based group that involves people in planting and caring for trees to make the region more sustainable, where she works closely with the Founder and President, Andy Lipkis, on his initiatives to make “smart green infrastructure” central to the way cities manage resources in the twenty-first century.

Rinaldo Brutoco is founder and President of the World Business Academy, a collaborative network of mindful individuals collectively exploring the leading edge of business and a preeminent publisher of new paradigm business literature. He has also served on numerous non-profit boards including The Gorbachev Foundation, Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, State of the World Forum, the Center for Earth Concerns, Omega Point Institute and the Brutoco Family Foundation. His career includes executive and board positions at Optical Systems Corporation, Universal Subscription Television, Logical Data Management and The Men’s Wearhouse.

Stuart Valentine is President of Iowa Progressive Asset Management (IPAM) an SRI investment advisor/manager. Additionally Stuart is a founding board member of the Sustainable Living Coalition (SLC), a non-profit with a mission to educate and demonstrate workable models in Permaculture and Environmental Design. A graduate of the Evergreen State College’s Renewable Energy Systems program in 1982, Stuart also earned his MBA degree from MUM in 1986.

Laura Whitney is President of The Ojai Foundation, an educational non-profit that teaches “the way of council,” the art of listening deeply and speaking authentically. TOF stewards a semi-wilderness retreat center in Ojai and also conducts council trainings in the Los Angeles Unified School District and other areas of the world including the Middle East. She has served on several other boards including Oak Grove School and The Scheerer Family Foundation. Laura graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arizona and holds an MA in Anthropology and Film from the University of Southern California.
